Hit it

"Elwood: It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark, and we're wearing sunglasses.

Jake: Hit it. "

This is how I feel.

It's 40 days to the Oil Creek 100 Race. I weigh the most I have in the last five years, I've done little to almost no running in August, and I have no training plan.

Hit it!!

  1. Don't forget the BBQ chicken and dry toast! :D

  2. That sounds like my training plan for VT100! I think I had some 0 mile weeks, a few in the single digits and was really not motivated to do much in May or June.

I think you will do fine at Oil Creek, you will have muscle memory from Umstead. And if you believe the adage less is more, you are super duper trained up:-)

  3. Races are so much more fun when there is no plan though. :)
